About this design: This brilliant phone case design unveils the looks of tin spheres on carbon imaged using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope). For all the non-scientists :) tin balls are used to calibrate scanning electron microscopes ;)

Tin Ball Galaxy was created by Stephanie Bogan who studied Neuroscience at University College Cork and now works as a research scientist at UCL - she is the departmental scanning electron microscope expert. Btw. Stephanies lab focuses on the analysis of biomaterials and their application in regenerative medicine and tissue-engineering
