About this design: Go abstract - go iridescent! This amazingly beautiful phone case is designed with a real image of iridescent glass. Iridescence is the phenomenon of certain surfaces that appear to gradually change colour as the angle of view or the angle of illumination changes. The rainbow-like play of colour is caused by tiny structures on the surface of the glass reflecting light into different directions. Other examples for iridescence include soap bubbles, butterfly wings or sea shells.
Iridescent Glass was created by Scott Camazine during his research at Harvard University.
